Beginner through expert canopy flying training.
We have (currently under construction) a swoop pond, 27 acre separate "D" license landing area. Our main landing area is a huge 32 acre landing site. Both areas are free of major obstacles making SDS one of the only DZ's to have completely separate landing to increase safety.
We offer training for all forms of skydiving and canopy flying classes. After completing the AFF course we continue your education on to your A license with a combination of coach jumps (intruducing you to belly formation flying and free flying) including additional canopy flying instruction.
Canopy Flight Center
The Canopy Flight Center is a full service training facility for beginner thru experience canopy pilots. The progressive training program is designed from the ground up at Skydive Sacramento by Peter Galli and Kevin Love.
We have an extensive curriculum and modern teaching aids for the changing environment of the world of canopy designs and flyers. Skydive Sacramento is the newest drop zone in northern California, with a large dedicated main landing area and separate high performance landing zone with a swoop park, distance course and pond.
